SNEAK PEEK...It's taking some serious guts today as I chop up some insanely, ridiculously gorgeous Art Brewer (Pictured above with Bunker Spreckels) photographs for our collaborative collage. All with his blessing and frankly nudging. Take a deep breath...focus and commit, I can do this, I can do this...reminding myself that Art told me, "surprise me" I hope and pray I do him justice with this honor. His work is impeccable. Dave Rastovich in Indo momentarily adrift on a reef in the sea....I love my job. "Sine Amore Perimus", "Without Love We Perish" inked into the work (as on Rasta's right foot). I scoured shops the past weekend for Indo incense boxes etc. to collage in. You can meet me, Art Brewer and view this completed artwork live on Sat. May 15th, 2010 at the group show, "Blue Realm" in Cardiff. Opening Reception starts at 5:30, 111 Chesterfield Drive, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, CA (across from Patagonia).
