Moonlight Glassing visit today

Visit with some legends today at Moonlight Glassing.  My husband, photographer, Kevin Roche has had fun doing a series on surfboard shapers.  Gary Stuber & Peter St. Pierre are not only legends but some of the nicest guys you'll meet.  Bonus on our visit was a chance to meet another legend, Shawn Stussy.  Here's an iPhone pic shot at Moonlight:

New Susan Wickstrand ARTworks released, currently on view at Surfindian, PB

Here's 11 of my newest one of a kind Original Oil & Encaustic (wax) Collages.  The process of Encaustic comes from the Ancient Greeks.  They'd paint the bows of their wooden ships in pigment then coat with molten wax to protect.  To this day it's a great way to create art.  All originals are currently on view at Surfindian, PB. "when you're green you grow, when you're ripe you rot" it's good to try new things...

I love learning new things. . . it keeps my mind & heart happy. Here I went today diving in head first solo plunge, applying resin atop 3 new creations. Check it out... and safety first! My 4 year old said mommy you look cute in your pink mask as I tried it on for her for the giggles...
